Job Description:

Working as Full-time Environmental, Social, and Governance Support, you will work closely with business leaders to help craft policies and programs to help formalize Fastenal's internal approach to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) matters. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define reporting metrics, create reporting controls, and monitor other critical KPIs. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintaining various aspects of the organization's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and corporate social responsibility (CSR) program
  • Monitoring key aspects of Fastenal's CSR and ESG policies, programs, practices, training and goals
  • Assisting with the development of relationships with community organizations where Fastenal maintains significant operations
  • Establishing, measuring and reporting on data based Key Performance Indicators to guide the company's CSR and ESG improvement efforts
  • Assisting with the engagement of relevant internal stakeholders to strengthen Fastenal's commitments and disclosures
  • Assisting with the development of documentation for external CSR/ESG stakeholders, including large customers, investors and CSR industry influencers that build Fastenal's reputation
  • Researching and preparing data responses addressing external stakeholder's inquiries, questionnaires and audits
  • Assisting with the management of Fastenal's submissions and scores with key CSR and ESG influencers, such as CDP, SASB, EcoVadis, etc.
