Job Description:

As our Environmental Services Technician, you'll keep our patient rooms and all areas of the hospital clean and sanitized. This protects everyone from potential illness or injury due to infectious diseases or other hazards. A well-maintained facility with compassionate staff brings comfort and peace of mind to patients, their loved ones, and all who serve here.

Job Responsibility:

Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, or dusting
Use specialized equipment and techniques to sanitize the facility
Learn and adhere to proper disposal techniques for biohazard materials
Refill soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers, and other supplies
Deliver clean linens
Perform cleaning of public and patient care areas to established standards
Use properly and care for cleaning equipment and chemicals
Observe Universal Precautions
Meet expectation of the job standard
Utilize automated Departmental Systems, such as Teletracking
Demonstrate compliance with all established Department/Facility policies and procedures

Requirements:

High School Graduate General Studies or 2 years equivalent work experience, upon hire
High School GED General Studies or 2 years equivalent work experience, upon hire

Nice to have:

Previous Housekeeping or Guest services experience
