Job Responsibility
As part of a project team, contribute and take ownership in the delivery of preliminary and detailed contaminated land assessments, including site management plans, remediation action plans and high-quality technical reports
Plan and carry out field investigations across soil, vapour, surface water and groundwater, including supervising drilling and sampling programs
Work alongside technical specialists and subject matter experts, contributing your insights and learning from others
Interpret complex datasets and confidently communicate findings through clear, well-structured and defensible reporting
Play an active role in developing proposals, budgets and tenders, directly contributing to the growth and direction of the team.
Requirements
A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Hydrogeology or Geology
3 years’ experience in the contaminated land industry
Exposure to a diverse range of contaminated land investigations across different sites, contaminants and project types
Confidence in managing site investigations, supervising fieldwork and applying soil and groundwater sampling methodologies
A working knowledge of the ASC NEPM and contaminated land regulatory requirements in Western Australia
Sound soil logging, data management, analytical and technical writing skills, with pride in producing high-quality work
A current driver’s licence and willingness to undertake field work, including in remote locations
A collaborative, ownership-driven mindset, with the confidence to contribute ideas, improve processes and help build a team you’re proud to be part of
