Job Description

Subsea7, a global leader in the delivery of offshore energy, presents an exciting summer internship opportunity within our Group Environmental team. This 12-week placement is designed for a recent graduate or final year student studying Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related discipline, providing valuable practical experience in a fast-paced, global organisation.

Job Responsibility

  • Gaining practical experience supporting environmental management activities across the business
  • Assisting with environmental reporting, data collection, and analysis
  • Contributing to environmental research and sustainability initiatives
  • Working alongside experienced professionals, gaining insight into environmental practices within the offshore energy sector
  • Opportunity to contribute to internal and external communications, including environmental messaging and marketing-related outputs (depending on your interests and skillset)

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in the 3rd, 4th, or 5th year University studies, or recently graduated
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to environmental management and sustainability
  • Effective organisational, research, and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Collaborates effectively, with the ability to gather information from various internal and external sources
  • A self-motivated approach, demonstrates initiative and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work both self-directedly and support wider team activities
  • IT proficient in the MS Suite and the ability to create meaningful presentations
  • Available to work in Aberdeen full-time between June and September 2026
