Job Description:

To provide environmental expertise to ensure that the company and its affiliate companies comply with internal policy and government regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Environmental Engineering/Science or equivalent
  • 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role, with experience in Environmental management within the resources industry
  • Greenhouse Gas Management experience would be favourable
  • ISO14001 Lead Auditor qualifications (or ability to attain)
  • Proven experience in preparation, maintenance and implementation of Environmental Plans
  • Proven experience in managing Environmental approvals and environmental monitoring
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and obtain a MSIC and TBOSIET with CA-EBS
  • Effective time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills working within a team and independently
  • Report writing skills
  • Problem solving and decision making skills
  • Only candidates with the right to work in Australia will be considered

Nice to have:

Greenhouse Gas Management experience would be favourable
