Job Description:

We are currently looking for an Environmental Engineer to join our M Generation & Management Division at the Energy Center Ag. Nikolaou in Paralia Distomou Viotias. Your role will encompass ensuring environmental compliance, implementing and improving the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, and promoting best practices in environmental performance across the organization.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure full compliance with environmental legislation, permit conditions, and company standards
  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001)
  • Oversee waste management processes, ensuring proper handling, contractor coordination, and documentation
  • Conduct environmental monitoring and audits and follow up on corrective and preventive actions
  • Prepare, analyze, and submit accurate environmental reports and data to internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive environmental awareness and training initiatives to foster a strong sustainability culture across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Production & Management)
  • Postgraduate studies in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Management will be considered an asset
  • 2+ years of experience in environmental management within industrial or energy facilities
  • Strong understanding of environmental legislation and compliance requirements
  • Hands-on experience with Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills with a proactive, result-driven mindset
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in MS Office and environmental management tools.

  • Postgraduate studies in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Management
