Job Description:

Circle K Belgium is looking for a driven and innovative Environmental Engineer for the Benelux. The role involves environmental management of service stations in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg, ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and contributing to innovative sustainability projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Monitor environmental permits and ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Advise and coordinate permit applications, safety studies, and environmental projects
  • Follow environmental legislation in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg
  • Oversee soil studies and remediation works
  • Investigate and handle environmental incidents and spills
  • Manage remediation provisions
  • Assess environmental risks of installations and develop action plans
  • Represent Circle K in European projects and with authorities
  • Collaborate with specialized engineering firms and environmental coordinators
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Apply expertise to various projects

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Bio-engineering
  • Experience in soil studies and environmental management
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Fluent in Dutch, French, and English
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities
  • Independent, stress-resistant, and quality-focused
  • Ability to maintain relationships and balance interests between internal and external partners
