Job Responsibility

  • Proven experience in the design of structures, ideally from a design consultancy setting

  • Support and mentor Engineers, Graduates and Technicians, sharing technical knowledge and contributing to the development of less experienced team members
  • Maintain high standards of technical quality by checking and reviewing work prepared by others, while taking a hands-on role in the delivery of more complex or challenging design elements
  • Carry out inspections including site surveys and structural assessments, and prepare clear and accurate technical reports
  • Contribute to client relationships through regular liaison with internal and external stakeholders, helping to ensure project scope is understood and deliverables are achieved
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure compliance with current technical standards, best practice, and quality, safety, environmental and sustainability procedures, including supporting the ongoing development of the Quality Management System
