A two-year graduate development programme for technically minded people looking to start a career in the built environment. The role involves working on real-world projects, developing technical knowledge, and being integrated into teams of specialists. The programme aims to train the next generation of expert designers who push the boundaries of design, benchmarking, and data analysis to improve building performance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform environmental assessments like energy modelling or embodied carbon calculations
  • Review thermal performance of façades and daylight access
  • Analyse potential for natural ventilation in retrofit buildings
  • Go on site visits during construction for benchmarking and to spot opportunities for circular economy strategies
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate sustainability goals into design
  • Use tools like Rhino and IES-VE
  • Attend weekly design meetings
  • Participate in research and conferences on new materials, technologies, legislation
  • Share findings in internal forums

Requirements:

  • On track for a minimum 2:1 degree (MEng, BEng, BSc)
