Job Responsibility

  • Identify, evaluate and understand all applicable environmental requirements and corporate requirements, to initiate audit program to business operations
  • Support peers to search, track and identify the latest environmental related laws, regulations and standards
  • Risk alarm in case of new environmental laws, regulations and standards publish or update
  • Identify, evaluate and support sites and BLs to implement environmental legal requirements
  • Provide regional ESHQ environmental related reports
  • Conduct environmental risk assessment and develop plans for risk management for operations in the region
  • Provide value-added support in environmental topics with expertise, training, RCA, ERA review, etc
  • Other tasks assigned by supervisor

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical/safety/environment/engineering
  • 3~5 years environmental experience in chemical manufacture sites
  • Basic knowledge of environmental protection principle of 'three simultaneous' in new, renovated, and expanded projects
  • Keen insight into environmental related laws, regulations and standards newly publish or their update, timely deliver the information and value-added service within region
  • Good knowledge of solid waste handling processes, especially in trading and external manufacturing processes
  • Fluent English skill being able to communicate in English both in speaking and writing
