Are you a skilled Environment Manager looking for your next challenge in South Brisbane? We are seeking a proactive professional to lead and optimise our client's heavily Microsoft-centric environments. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring environment stability, governance, and seamless deployment workflows, directly impacting the success of key enterprise delivery streams.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of all non-production and production environments across Microsoft Azure and on-premises platforms
  • Coordinate environment provisioning, configuration changes, and release deployments utilising Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Monitor environment health, manage technical debt, and resolve environment-related incidents to minimise downtime for development and testing teams
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA testers, and infrastructure engineers, to align environment availability with project timelines
  • Establish and enforce environment governance, configuration management, and security compliance in line with Microsoft best practices

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as an Environment Manager or Release Manager within a heavily Microsoft-centric enterprise environment
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipeline automation tools
  • Demonstrated knowledge of configuration management, environment governance frameworks, and version control systems
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to coordinate complex deployments across multiple technical teams
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Administrator) are highly regarded
