Job Responsibility

  • Provide EHSS subject matter expertise to manufacturing, facilities, and warehouse operations to advance the culture of safety and sustainability to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Provide EHSS leadership to different functional areas and support execution of key EHSS processes across the site, including industrial hygiene, industrial safety, and safe work procedures for hazardous work
  • Conduct trending and analysis of EHSS data, generate actionable insights, and drive continuous improvements in safety performance through incident investigations, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safe work procedures and sustained risk control measures
  • Establish and execute risk assessment plans and ensure controls are in place before changes are implemented
  • Conduct routine inspections and Purposeful Presence walks with Manufacturing Leadership Teams of work areas and ensure compliance with EHSS procedures
  • Analyze key metrics and facilitate EHSS management reviews with leadership to drive accountability and prioritize improvements

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Natural Resources, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or health and safety related occupation
  • Position requires 2 years of experience in the following: Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability experience in a cGMP or regulated manufacturing environment
  • Conduct EHSS risk assessments and implement controls
  • Analyze data to identify incident trends for risk mitigation and continuous improvement
  • Incident investigation, corrective actions, and knowledge of Incident Management Systems
  • Influencing leadership decisions through Safety KPIs for compliance & performance tracking
  • Industrial hygiene program development
  • EHSS Auditing & Regulatory Compliance
