Job Description

To ensure full compliance of field operations resources with Ericsson HSE standards, local EHS standards, and regulations by managing safety requirements for field personnel, tools, and vehicles. The role focuses on proactive risk prevention, audit readiness, and maintaining high safety performance across telecom deployment and maintenance activities.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure field staff have valid safety certifications (working at height, first aid, firefighting, etc.)
  • Maintain certification database and track expiry dates
  • Coordinate training and renewals
  • Conduct periodic audits of field teams
  • Ensure all tools/equipment are certified, inspected, and safe
  • Maintain inspection and calibration records
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules
  • Identify and remove unsafe equipment
  • Ensure vehicles meet safety and legal standards
  • Track documentation (registration, insurance, inspection)
  • Monitor driver compliance and training (licenses, defensive driving)
  • Conduct vehicle audits and performance checks
  • Perform regular site safety audits and inspections
  • Identify hazards and non-compliance issues
  • Monitor vehicles via GPS for routes, speed, and driving behavior
  • Ensure corrective actions and audit follow-ups
  • Support investigation of incidents, accidents, and near misses
  • Perform root cause analysis
  • Ensure proper reporting and CAPA implementation

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in EHS or field operations (telecom/construction preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and compliance standards
  • Experience managing personnel, tools, and vehicle safety compliance
  • EHS certifications preferred (NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor is a plus)
  • Strong audit, inspection, and reporting skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office tools
  • Good communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and compliance tracking ability
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Proactive mindset with adaptability, creativity, and willingness to learn
