Entry-level Underwriter

• Review and evaluate applications for professional liability insurance
• Work with brokers to gather information and support policy decisions
• Assist with quoting, rating, and binding policies
• Maintain and service client accounts
• Learn underwriting guidelines and apply them to real business scenarios
• Collaborate with internal teams across multiple programs

• Prior experience in data entry and customer service is essential
• Basic understanding of property and casualty underwriting principles is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
• Ability to interpret and apply underwriting guidelines with accuracy
• Proficiency in evaluating risks and preparing clear and concise documentation
• Capability to meet deadlines and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment
• License NOT required - possibility to obtain with employer

Basic understanding of property and casualty underwriting principles is preferred
