Job Description:

Steere is seeking an entry level Transportation Engineer with 0-2 years’ experience to join our Transportation Group and assist with transportation projects throughout New England. The successful candidate will work with a Team of professionals to assist with the development of contract documents for highway related projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Highway and drainage design
  • Contract document preparation including plans, specifications, and estimates
  • Participation in meetings with clients and project team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • 0-2 years of professional transportation/highway engineering experience
  • EIT preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with CAD and Bluebeam software
  • Desire to learn and work in a team environment
