Job Description:

Our client is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who has strong Excel skills and is looking to build a solid foundation in accounting and finance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist with daily accounting activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports using Excel
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros) to organize and interpret data
  • Assist with accounts payable processes, including invoice review and data entry
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 6+ months of accounting or related experience (internships welcome)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (either pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and/or macros)
  • Exposure to accounts payable or general accounting functions is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
