Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level Recruiter to join our team in Rochester, New York. This is a long-term contract position within the non-profit sector, offering an excellent opportunity to grow your career in recruitment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about talent acquisition and excel in sourcing and managing candidates throughout the hiring process.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires
  • Utilize various sourcing strategies, including job boards, social media, and networking, to identify top talent
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment plans
  • Screen and evaluate candidates to ensure alignment with job requirements and organizational culture
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking systems to ensure accurate and timely documentation
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, providing support to both candidates and hiring managers
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates with relevant experience for current and future hiring needs
  • Ensure compliance with all recruitment policies, procedures, and legal requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment partners and community organizations
  • Analyze recruitment data and metrics to optimize strategies and improve hiring outcomes

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with full cycle recruiting processes, including sourcing and onboarding
  • Strong understanding of high-volume recruitment practices
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
  • Previous experience in corporate or non-profit recruiting is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
