Job Responsibility:

  • Assist with creation and development of detailed mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system designs for a wide variety of projects
  • Become familiar with relevant codes and standards and apply them to design
  • Assist with production of construction documents
  • Generate and maintain clear documentation throughout the project process
  • Collaborate in a team environment as well as self-manage and self-motivate
  • Use good written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong organizational skills to complete projects
  • Manage time and workload to meet project task deadlines and commitments within your projects’ budgets and schedules
  • Report to intermediate and senior-level coworkers regularly
  • Travel occasionally to support project tasks
  • Take field measurements and assist with field site inspections

Requirements:

  • 0-2+ years of work experience developing engineering drawings
  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
  • Completion, or on track to completing, the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
  • Familiarity with Revit is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and perform work assignments with minimal supervision
