Job Responsibility:

  • General maintenance and repairs in guest room, meeting space, and front of the house areas
  • General maintenance and repairs in back of the house areas including kitchen, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
  • Learn to perform preventive maintenance on major equipment and systems, using a windows-based computer system
  • Learn to read blueprints and schematics along with basic trouble-shooting skills

Requirements:

  • Must have full flexible availability including overnight as this role is primarily for the overnight shifts
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow

  • Always keep grounds of hotel clean
  • Check your designated area for work orders generated in the hotel’s Maintenance Program
  • At specified times check mechanical readings, water pressure and temperature readings. Report out to Director of Engineering or Engineering Supervisor when readings are not correct
  • Complete daily check list sheets
  • Handle all radio responses and guest request
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance of HVAC units, kitchen, and laundry equipment as required by established maintenance schedules
  • Perform pool reading and pool basic maintenance
  • Leave notes and documentation for DOE and supervisor of unsolved problems or areas that need follow-up on the next day
  • Through work orders, job tickets and the daily log, document all work performed on your shift
