Job Description

Socomec Group (Socomec) is a global leader in electrical equipment engineering and manufacturing, specialized in low voltage energy performance. Socomec North America (NAM) is Socomec’s organization overseeing all operations in North America. The Parts Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient coordination, availability, and distribution of spare parts in support of after-sales service operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining customer satisfaction, minimizing equipment downtime, and supporting internal teams by managing parts inventory, logistics, and supplier coordination in alignment with Socomec NAM service standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate the ordering, receiving, and distribution of spare parts to support service and customer requirements
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure optimal stock levels for service operations
  • Process and track parts orders, shipments, and returns, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
  • Liaise with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to resolve parts availability or delivery issues
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures related to inventory control, shipping, and safety
  • Prepare reports on parts usage, backorders, and inventory performance

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • associate degree in logistics, supply chain, or business preferred
  • 2–4 years of experience in parts coordination, inventory control, logistics, or a related role
  • Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or technical service environment preferred
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of inventory management and basic supply chain principles
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Lists, OneDrive)
  • Ability to read and interpret parts lists, technical documentation, and service orders
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Customer-service mindset with the ability to support internal and external stakeholders
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
