Job Description

Join H.B. Fuller’s Willow Lake campus as an Entry Level Facilities & Maintenance Technician, where you’ll support daily operations and learn the fundamentals of building systems. This hands-on role offers training and experience in a collaborative technical environment. You’ll help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workplace while growing your skills in facilities maintenance.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform basic tasks: filter changes, light bulb replacements, and equipment cleaning
  • Support workspace organization and minor repairs
  • Assist technicians with preventive maintenance and repairs
  • Report facility issues (e.g., leaks, temperature changes)
  • Maintain mechanical rooms and supply areas
  • Follow safety protocols and wear PPE
  • Set up work areas for contractors/vendors
  • Track inventory and restock supplies

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 0–3 years of related experience (internships/part-time welcome)
  • Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely
  • Willingness to obtain MN State Special Boiler License

Nice to have

  • Vocational training in HVAC, electrical, or building maintenance
