Boeing-Wichita is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join their team in Wichita, KS. Industrial Engineers play a critical role in optimizing manufacturing systems that support the production of advanced aerostructures for Boeing and other aerospace partners. This role focuses on improving production efficiency, analyzing workflow and capacity, and implementing data-driven solutions that enhance safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance. The Industrial Engineer collaborates closely with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to evaluate processes, balance production lines, and develop scalable solutions that support high-rate aerospace manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across the enterprise.
Job Responsibility
Headcount and resource planning for Fabrication Operations
Monitoring and comparing demand
Interfacing with senior leadership on headcount planning and efficiency planning
Support demand management team and decision support for the Fabrication Organization
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of IE Tools used in production ie: capacity analysis, facility layout, and production improvements
Nice to have
Experience in an Aircraft or Aerospace Manufacturing environment
