Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Entry Level Environmental Representative with at least 1 year working experience in Environmental compliance. The candidate will inspect and maintain the facility’s handling, storage, and disposal of waste; including managing the air, water, and dredge permits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Job Responsibility

  • Waste collection, storage, and transport (hazardous, non-hazardous, universal, industrial solid, special waste, tires, sewage/biosolids)
  • Blasting and Painting Engineering Controls
  • VOC and Fugitive Housekeeping Plan
  • SPC/SPCC Plan
  • SPC/SPCC inspections
  • Air opacity checks and log completion
  • Hazardous Waste inspections
  • Secondary containment drainage logs
  • Rain Gauge Report/Rainfall logs
  • SWPPP inspections
  • Performs sanitary unit maintenance, as applicable
  • Assists facility and corporate HSE personnel in carrying out various environmental duties
  • Ability to collect required water samples

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year working experience in Environmental compliance
  • EMT, First Responder and First Aid Training is a plus
