Job Description:

Rapidly growing kitchen remodeling team looking to add an Entry Level Cabinet Installer to our ever-growing team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the removal and installation of cabinet doors, custom cabinets, and fixtures in alignment with project specifications
  • Collaborate closely with the installation team to ensure projects are executed efficiently and meet the highest quality standards
  • Follow directions effectively and consistently
  • Learn and master repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency
  • Utilize proper techniques for measuring, cutting, and assembling cabinetry
  • Work with team members to troubleshoot and overcome job-related challenges
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
  • Present a professional appearance and demeanor in all customer interactions

Requirements:

  • Ability to thrive in a team setting and follow guidance from experienced installers
  • Keen attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Basic carpentry skills are required
  • Physical stamina and capability to lift and carry heavy materials
  • Must reside within 30 minutes of Ramsey, NJ
  • Possess a clean driving record
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Must be English speaking

Nice to have:

Experience in trim or frame carpentry is a plus

  • Maintains a payable processing system, matching vendor invoices with purchase orders, codes each invoice, and submits them to the franchisee/sales manager for final approval for payment
  • Audits cabinet acknowledgements against the designer’s layout and pricing to check for errors and ensures that the production date given corresponds with the time frame required for installation
  • Maintains central job filing system
  • Performs job invoicing and statement mailings on a computer system
  • Closes out job files balancing contract price with monies received and establishes job gross profit for sales commission processing
  • Types all necessary credit memos, debit memos, and return authorizations for franchisee/sales manager’s signature and maintain appropriate logs
  • Coordinates and mails thank you cards as jobs are closed
  • Prepares sales commission reports for the franchisee/sales manager’s review and submits it for payment
