ZGF is seeking an Entry Level Architect to join our team in the Seattle office. We are looking for creative, motivated and curious design talent with a passion for architecture and the built environment. We are offering a position within the Architectural Group for an individual who will work under the direction of experienced professional design staff on a diversity of project opportunities. If you have a passion and a desire to exercise your design skills, we are interested in talking with you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be part of a community focused on design excellence and innovation
  • Collaborate with the design team for generating and developing design ideas
  • Work on projects from concept design through construction administration
  • Produce design drawings, construction documents, presentation drawings, graphic design work, and digital and physical modeling in support of Architecture, Urban Design, and Interior Design, as well as marketing efforts
  • Help us tell the story of our projects through various media
  • Work under design supervision and receive instruction and mentoring
  • Perform fundamental architectural tasks and work collaboratively with others toward design solutions for our projects

Requirements:

  • Creative curiosity
  • Basic understanding of architectural design and construction principles
  • A strong interest in graphic storytelling
  • A professional Architectural degree and 0-2 years of related experience
  • Proficiency with modeling in Revit
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and Rhino or other parametric design software
  • Good communication and graphic skills
  • Physical and digital modeling and rendering ability
