A growing wealth management firm in Northern Virginia is seeking an Entry Level Advisor to join their client-facing team. This role provides hands-on experience supporting client relationships, financial planning, and advisory operations, with a clear path toward a future advisory role. The Advisor will work closely with Senior Advisors to support client service, prepare financial plans, and manage follow-up from client interactions. Job Responsibility:
Respond to client inquiries and correspondence in a timely manner
Assist with client onboarding and account administration
Maintain accurate client records in CRM and other internal systems
Support client transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and service requests
Build trust and rapport with clients and internal teams
Collect, organize, and audit client data to support financial planning recommendations
Assist in preparing financial plans under supervision
gradually take on independent plan preparation
Participate in client meetings, prepare materials, document meeting outcomes, and manage follow-up tasks
Develop technical knowledge of investment portfolios, rebalancing, and reporting tools
Partner with advisors and operations team members on projects and client deliverables
Learn firm systems, technology, and financial planning processes
Contribute ideas for process improvements and enhanced client experience
Prepare to grow into an advisory role through mentorship and hands-on experience
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required
CFP designation or CFP coursework highly preferred
Interest in long-term growth into a client advisory role
Strong internship experience and completed coursework toward CFP will be considered
