The entry level Accountant is an entry‑level, full‑time position responsible for supporting the accounting department with daily financial operations. This role is designed for entry level with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. The entry level Accountant will work closely with senior accounting staff to ensure accurate financial reporting, job costing, and compliance with company policies and construction‑industry standards.
Job Responsibility:
Accounts Payable — Process vendor invoices, verify purchase orders, match packing slips, and ensure timely payments
Accounts Receivable — Prepare customer invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances
Job Costing — Assist with tracking project expenses, labor hours, subcontractor costs, and materials
General Ledger — Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and support month‑end close
Payroll Support — Assist with weekly payroll review, timecard verification, and union/non‑union labor reporting
