Entry-Level Accountant

• Perform daily reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries to maintain the integrity of the general ledger
• Conduct account reconciliations, verifying balances and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
• Assist in preparing and processing tax payments, adhering to compliance standards
• Utilize accounting software systems and ERP solutions to manage financial data effectively
• Analyze financial accounts and provide insights to support decision-making
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all accounting functions are completed accurately and on schedule
• Apply account coding principles to categorize and organize financial transactions
• Prepare financial reports and summaries to support audits and internal reviews
• Maintain and update financial documentation using tools such as Adobe Acrobat.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting practices
• Proficiency in accounting software systems, ERP solutions, and tools such as Dynamics NAV
• Strong skills in account reconciliation and journal entry preparation
• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and other financial documentation tools
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Previous experience in the financial services industry, particularly in credit unions or banking, is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
