Entry Level Accountant

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and attention to detail
• Assist with auditing tasks, including preparing and reviewing financial records
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure data consistency and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate coding of accounts and entries within the accounting system
• Utilize ERP solutions, such as Vista/Viewpoint, for managing accounting processes
• Support the team with general accounting functions, including account analysis and reporting
• Collaborate with colleagues to address accounting-related inquiries and provide solutions
• Monitor financial data and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Participate in the preparation of financial documents and reports
• Contribute to special projects and tasks as assigned by the controller

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred, but not required
• Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Familiarity with auditing processes and procedures is a plus
• Proficiency in accounting software systems, especially Vista/Viewpoint
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze financial data
• Effective problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Reliable and adaptable with a proactive approach to handling tasks
