Find your future with us. BAA Finance is seeking an Entry Level Accountant to be part of our growing Financial Accounting team. This is a Full Time; Permanent role based 100% onsite in Port Melbourne reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager. The Financial Accounting team at BAA manages our P&L and Balance Sheet including reconciliations, SAP GL, cash, offshore AP & AR teams, Monthly / Quarterly / Annual and Statutory Reporting. In addition, we liaise with key stakeholders internally and externally and collaborate with other Boeing teams to meet FBT, GST and Corporate Tax requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure Accounts Payable processes work smoothly
Support internal BAA customers with AP matters
Prepare Monthly & Quarterly Reports & Schedules
Undertake GL reconciliations
Complete SOX requirements
Support reporting requirements for FBT, Tax and month-end
Problem solving and resolution of day-to-day accounting issues
Review Financial compliance and adherence to GAAP and Boeing Company Policies
Requirements:
Comfortable in working and interacting in a team environment, willingness to learn & explore and put your problem-solving skills to the test in a hands-on environment
Be confident about what you can bring to the team
Great verbal and written communication skills
This is an Entry level role so looking for 0 – 2 years experience within a similar role
Applicants must have unrestricted full-time working rights in Australia
Nice to have:
Degree qualified or to be completed by the end of 2026 (job commencement date is mid 2026 with business support to take required time off for study/exams)
Be committed to undertaking CA / CPA
