Job Description:

Robert Half has an immediate need for an Entry Level Accountant. In this position, your responsibilities will include data entry, financial statement review, and work heavily in Excel. You will report to the Accounting Manager of a dynamic team and have the potential for career growth. This temporary / contract to hire position is located in Mounds View, and is a perfect foot-in-the-door opportunity to start your career in accounting!

Job Responsibility:

  • Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts
  • Carrying out other related duties and participating in special projects as assigned
  • Perform data entry
  • Helping with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits
  • Analyzing and adjusting account discrepancies
  • Put together monthly journal entries
  • Assisting with full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
  • Data entry, financial statement review, and work heavily in Excel

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree in Accounting (or related)
  • Exposure to QuickBooks or other ERP system highly desired
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge (PivotTables, V-Lookups) preferred
  • Account reconciliation experience required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written and listening)
  • Great attention to detail
  • Provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to QuickBooks or other ERP system highly desired
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge (PivotTables, V-Lookups) preferred
