Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Parsippany, New Jersey. In this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in supporting financial operations and ensuring accurate account management within a manufacturing environment. This opportunity is ideal for someone eager to grow their accounting expertise in a dynamic and collaborative setting.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately code and manage accounts to ensure proper financial reporting
Utilize accounting software systems to process transactions and maintain records
Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy
Prepare and post accounting entries in compliance with established guidelines
Conduct account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial data
Assist in managing accounts payable (AP) processes, including invoice verification and payments
Leverage Dynamics NAV and ERP solutions to streamline accounting operations
Collaborate with team members to support overall accounting functions
Generate reports and documentation using tools such as Adobe Acrobat
Provide support in maintaining compliance with internal and external financial regulations

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proficiency in accounting software systems and tools such as Dynamics NAV
Familiarity with ERP solutions and their application in financial processes
Strong skills in account coding, reconciliation, and analysis
Experience with accounts payable (AP) processes and associated workflows
Ability to prepare and post accurate accounting entries
Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat for documentation and reporting purposes
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills in financial operations
