Job Description

Scope: Blue Yonder Technical Architect (SCPO – Supply Chain Planning and Optimization) will be responsible for services delivery of product implementation and related integration. Core responsibilities include Architecting, designing (along with counterparts, customer, and Architects) and leading the technical team on projects. The team currently comprises of 80+ associates in India and is expected to grow rapidly. The incumbent should be passionate about working with new technologies and products and demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, have good interpersonal & communication skills – verbal & written.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead a team of technical consultants / developers on Solution implementation, enhancement, managed services, integration, custom projects either at the customer site or offshore
  • Estimate the workload of implementation activities that are within the scope of their skills
  • Conduct technical analysis sessions with customers and/or the project team to understand the functional and technical needs of the customer and develop technical solutions to meet those needs
  • Design and develop platform workflow/ user interface, integration scripts, Data mapping, data modeling and loading of data
  • Provide a variety of technical support to the project team, including quality assurance/design review, environment setup, software installation, configuration, operations consulting, troubleshooting, system testing, programming, etc
  • Handle activities with a diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
  • Provide internal and external trainings
  • Implementation and steady state support and contribute on internal development projects
  • Accelerate Time-to-Value for customer by iteratively delivering in short cycles
  • Continuously upskill on Blue Yonders product suite to convey relationships and touchpoints to the customer
  • Ready to travel to customer sites based on business needs, and flexible to work with overlapping time zones and work timings
  • Recognize and highlight incremental revenue opportunities within existing customer projects
  • Create artifacts towards reusability and automation decreasing implementation lifecycle and reducing errors post go-live

Requirements

  • Knowledge on OS – Windows, Unix
  • DB – RDBMS Concepts, Oracle, MS SQL Server, SQL/ PL SQL
  • Implementation experience using SCPO Platform
  • Next Gen Skills - Data Science, Data Analytics, Agile, Python, AI/ML, Prompt Engineering, Cloud Fun, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Databases/Data Platforms(emerging) – Snowflake, MongoDB, NoSQL, etc
  • Excellent communication, Inter-personal, Stakeholder management, Analytical and Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organization and project documentation skills
  • Meticulous planning with attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Domain knowledge: Understanding of Supply Chain Planning and how it integrates with other systems
  • Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science Preferred) and 12 to 20 years of experience in Software industry
  • Strong programming experience and problem-solving skills
  • Technical Background, Supply Chain Planning Industry Experience
  • Expertise on performance tuning techniques
  • Possess technical expertise on PL/SQL, database, Snowflake, ETL, Platform, Python scripting
  • Demonstrable experience leading, building, deploying and maintenance of enterprise solutions (cloud or on-premises)
  • Good understanding of Web Technologies and API fundamentals
  • Strong understanding on Cloud and Architectural design (Azure or equivalent, Microservices Architecture, Multi-Tenant)
  • Demonstrable experience with Blue Yonder SCPO Platform
  • Hands-on development skills
  • Passionate about working with new technologies, products and demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, have good interpersonal & communication skills – verbal & written
