Job Description:

Responsible for supporting CVS Health enterprise by leading a team responsible for drafting, negotiating, and finalizing IT and Non-IT deals and contractual documents for purchase of non-merchandise goods and services in accordance with corporate policies.

Job Responsibility:

Draft, prepare and review contract documents
Lead all aspects of supplier contract exercises
Analyze all contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions
Effectively communicate importance of terms to internal and external stakeholders
Interact with key CVS subject matter experts
Partner with Sourcing colleagues to support development of RFP requests
Act as key point of contact for escalated contract issues
Identify contractual risks and escalate to Senior Leadership
Participate in presentations and educational sessions
Utilize technological tools for daily tasks
Serve as subject matter expert for senior leadership
Manage multiple high visibility contracts/projects
Monitor and lead a group of individuals
Review and comment on all RFI, RFP, RFQ and contracts
Make sound business decisions on sourcing opportunities
Represent Enterprise Procurement and CVS Health
Mentor and guide staff
Collaborate to maintain Enterprise Procurement Manual and templates

Requirements:

Minimum 7 years of professional work experience
Minimum 5 years of experience working in a contracts support environment
Minimum 5 years drafting complex contractual documents, memorandum, terms and conditions
Minimum 3 years of professional experience and knowledge advising senior leaders/executives on contract law and risks
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks & high volume of contractual negotiations simultaneously
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four year college or university required

Nice to have:

Experience as a recurring user of Ariba Contract Management platform
Experience negotiating non-merchandise/indirect commodity purchases
Experience within the Retail and/or Healthcare Industries
Legal degree or degree in contract administration, public administration, business management
Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) or Certified Public Purchasing Officer (C.P.P.O)
Certified Federal Contracts Manager (C.F.C.M.)
Certified Professional Contracts Manager (C.P.C.M.)
Professional experience managing, training and developing people
Master's degree and/or JD
