The Lead Enterprise Tooling Change Manager will be accountable for designing and delivering the engagement, communication and training plans to rollout out Enterprise PPM tooling and reporting across the organisation that supports the delivery of a £1.5bn capital plan. The Enterprise Tooling Change Manager will lead the strategic adoption, evolution and optimisation of the Enterprise tooling capabilities that underpin delivery performance insights and decision making. The role will ensure that tools are effectively implemented, embedded, understood and consistently utilised across the organisation.
Job Responsibility
Develop a detailed change management strategy and lead continuous improvement across tooling reporting and the delivery hub (in line with organisational goals).
Conduct impact assessments across different user groups (EPT, Delivery, Portfolio’s, SLT).
Build strong relationships with end users (e.g. project managers) to understand real-world challenges
Act as a trusted advisor and challenge when needed to ensure adoption is realistic and achievable
Translate tooling changes into clear ‘what this means for you’ guidance
Identify, track and address barriers to adoption
Support the design of ways of working, not just system usage
Develop clear, user-focused communications (avoiding jargon and system-heavy language)
Design and deliver practical training and support materials (guides, walkthroughs, quick references)
Ensure support is embedded (e.g. help hubs, champions, ongoing guidance)
Define and track adoption metrics (usage, compliance, quality of data)
Gather user feedback and translate into actionable improvements
Work with delivery teams to iterate tooling and processes based on real usage
