Job Responsibility

  • Deploying and supporting enterprise network solutions across campus, branch, and data centre environments
  • Assisting with the creation of technical documentation, including low-level designs, implementation plans, and handover guides
  • Supporting the delivery of WLAN projects, including surveys, optimisation, and troubleshooting
  • Conducting wireless site surveys using tools such as Ekahau, analysing WLAN performance, and recommending improvements
  • Implementing and configuring wireless technologies including Cisco Catalyst Wireless, controllers, and access points
  • Working with project managers and senior engineers to ensure successful project delivery
  • Participating in assessments of existing networks to identify issues, risks, or upgrade requirements
  • Providing occasional presales support, such as basic bill-of-materials input or scoping assistance
  • Supporting knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams

Requirements

  • Experience delivering enterprise network projects in medium-to-large environments
  • Hands-on knowledge of routing & switching technologies (Cisco Catalyst, Nexus preferred)
  • Good understanding of core routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP)
  • Practical experience with wireless networking, WLAN design principles, and RF fundamentals
  • Experience using Ekahau for Wi-Fi design, validation, and troubleshooting (desirable but highly beneficial)
  • Familiarity with Cisco Wireless controllers, access points, and WLAN best practices
  • Exposure to SD-WAN, DNA Center, or cloud-managed networking (advantageous)
  • CCNP or working towards equivalent level
  • Strong communication skills and a methodical, organised approach
