Job Description:

Join Aruma as an Enterprise Insights Analyst to support teams with data-driven decision-making, deliver reporting solutions, build Power BI dashboards, and help shape data systems and frameworks in a disability support organization undergoing significant transformation.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborating with business teams to understand their reporting needs and translating them into technical solutions
Extracting and cleaning data from multiple sources to prepare for analysis
Designing and optimising semantic models in Power BI for consistent reporting across teams
Building, refining, and publishing dashboards that are easy to navigate and provide real insights
Troubleshooting data quality issues and working with colleagues to resolve gaps or inconsistencies
Providing support and guidance to non-technical staff, helping them interpret and use data effectively
Reviewing existing reports and identifying opportunities for automation or simplification
Partnering with the Enterprise Insights Manager on strategic data initiatives and continuous improvement projects

Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
Strong experience in building, maintaining, and optimising Power BI dashboards and semantic models
Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases / data warehouse environments
Experience with data modelling, data cleaning, and preparation for analysis
Understanding of data governance, quality, and security principles
Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a focus on providing excellent customer service
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have:
