Job Description

As the Enterprise Corporate Sales (ECS) Account Executive (AE), you are a highly motivated self-starter who thrives in a high growth, fast paced, collaborative environment. You are eager to learn, determined to adapt quickly, and comfortable with some ambiguity. You are responsible for developing and closing new business and expanding our footprint in current customers by selling additional products and services within an assigned geographic territory or vertical. You are accountable for exceeding quarterly and annual quotas, proactive deal management, forecast accuracy, and driving adoption and usage with customers and prospects in collaboration with internal teams and the broader Docusign partner ecosystem.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive success of the company’s goals and objectives through achieving individual sales quotas
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline through prospecting efforts into the DACH Enterprise territory
  • Develop and deliver customized sales presentations and products demonstrations, by phone and via online demo
  • Develop and negotiate enterprise level proposals and contracts
  • Forecast sales activity and revenue achievements accurately through proper use of sales tools
  • Collaborate effectively and engage various pre/post sales resources including Sales Development Representatives, Market Development Representatives, Solutions Engineers, Account Managers, Partner Account Managers, as well as Legal, Security, Professional Services and Customer Support

Requirements

  • Written and spoken fluency in both German and English
  • Eligibility and availability to work from Munich on a hybrid basis
  • 5+ years of related experience in B2B software sales
  • Experience interacting with senior executives across multiple industries preferable – Banking, Insurance, Pharma, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Professional Services, High Tech etc.
  • Experience running deals from start through to finish, full sales cycle deal management
  • Experience selling value and ROI into C-Level as well as selling into line of business buying centres
  • Experience aligning value-based solutions with a customer’s strategic objectives
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent sales cycles effectively
  • Experience consistently qualifying deals in or out
  • Experience with sales forecasting methodology and tools (SFDC)
  • Knowledge of one or more industry verticals – Banking, Insurance, Pharma, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Professional Services, High Tech etc.
  • Strong interpersonal and sales presentation skills
  • Tenacity and a drive to win

  • Own a portfolio of Corporate and Large customers (500–5,000 employees) in a high-touch, strategic CSM model, guiding them from onboarding through adoption, renewal, and expansion
  • Act as the primary value owner for your accounts, ensuring clear outcomes, strong adoption, and long-term retention (NRR focus)
  • Lead ocassional Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for larger or more complex corporate customers, in close collaboration with Sales, when it meaningfully impacts deal quality or long-term success
  • Develop structured, outcome-driven Success Plans that align customer goals with our product’s value
  • Drive measurable success through adoption, usage analytics, and strategic expansion conversations
  • Act as a thought partner to AEs in the sales cycle and post-sale strategy, and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Support, and Marketing
  • Champion customer feedback into product loops and continuously improve onboarding and lifecycle playbooks for large customers
  • Build executive and operational relationships with mid-sized and enterprise accounts across DACH (and occasionally international) markets
