Job Description
Demonstrated ability to design, configure, and manage network infrastructure within both Amazon Web Service (AWS) and Azure cloud environments. - Expertise in designing and implementing highly available, fault-tolerant cloud network architectures, including multi-region and multi–Availability Zone deployments, resiliency patterns, and automated failover solutions. - Hands-on experience implementing hybrid cloud connectivity using Amazon Web Service (AWS) Transit Gateway and Azure ExpressRoute. - Working knowledge of Megaport services, including provisioning and managing Virtual Cross Connects (VXCs) to enable secure private connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments. - Strong understanding of network traffic management, including ingress and egress routing, traffic optimization, path selection, and high-availability network design across distributed cloud environments. - Proficiency in deploying, configuring, and managing cloud-native load balancing services, including Amazon Web Service (AWS) Elastic Load Balancing (ELB), Azure Load Balancer, and Azure Application Gateway. - Proficiency in deploying and managing virtual firewall solutions, including third-party Network Virtual Appliances (NVAs) such as Palo Alto VM-Series and Cisco CSR 8000v, as well as native cloud security controls. - Solid understanding of cloud networking security constructs, including AWS Security Groups, Azure Network Security Groups (NSGs), and Network Access Control Lists (NACLs). - Ability to design and implement Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and VNet peering, hybrid connectivity solutions, and multi-region or multi-cloud architectures, including integration through Megaport services. - Proficiency in configuring and managing Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) in cloud, hybrid, and multi-cloud network environments. - Strong understanding of cloud network security principles, including secure network architecture, access control, segmentation, and compliance-aligned design practices.
