We’re expanding our high performing Electric Vehicle Growth Team and looking for an experienced Enterprise Business Development Manager to drive the acquisition of large Enterprise Customers. You will be responsible for managing sales directly with our largest business customers focusing on our industry leading Electric Vehicle Salary Sacrifice Scheme. You will be the face and the voice of Octopus Electric Vehicles, advising and supporting prospective customers, building a detailed justification and business case and co-ordinating with our legal, finance and commercial teams to set up their very own Electric Vehicle Salary Sacrifice scheme.
Job Responsibility:
Take full ownership of driving new business, building and managing strategic relationships with Enterprise customers
Coordinate with marketing, operations, and implementation teams to ensure a seamless onboarding and rollout process
Lead multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial engagement to signed agreements and successful program implementation
Understand and navigate enterprise procurement, HR, finance, and legal processes
Partner with senior leaders (often C-Level) to tailor a compelling EV benefit proposition
Establish and develop your sales pipeline with customers
Plan, target, and secure the acquisition of new customers
Manage your pipeline, recording progress in our CRM system
Record customer satisfaction and best practice measures
Support customer launch events
Provide excellent customer service through the sales process
Share best practice and insights to help shape our enterprise go-to-market approach
Work with the wider teams to develop and deliver propositions and materials for the B2B market
Strategically build your pipeline working with the wider team to create strong relationships both internally and externally
Requirements:
Proven track record of winning and expanding relationships with enterprise customers selling business value generating solutions/services
Experience managing complex six or seven-figure deal sizes through complex sales cycles
Ability to influence and negotiate with senior customer stakeholders (C-Level, Directors, HR, Finance and ESG)
Strong commercial acumen
10+ years in customer facing sales roles delivering significant new business
Deliver an excellent customer experience
Passion for creating a sustainable future through decarbonisation via electric vehicles and renewable energy
Previous sales experience within a B2B consultative environment
Knowledge of employee benefits and/or vehicle leasing would be and advantage but isn’t a pre-requisite
Excellent listening and communication skills
Experience using Google Drive, MS Office, CRM systems and other associated IT based technologies
A true completer, finisher mentality
An understanding of the sales cycle and customers’ buying process
A start up / entrepreneurial mind-set
Must have a valid UK driving licence
