Enterprise Business Analyst – Oracle Order-to-Cash (O2C) Employment Type: Long-Term Contract with Potential for Conversion Location: Remote (Eastern Time preferred) We’re partnering with a large enterprise organization that is in the middle of a multi-year Oracle Cloud Fusion transformation. As part of this journey, they are looking to add an experienced Oracle Order-to-Cash functional expert to support and stabilize a growing workload. This role sits within the Order-to-Cash function and focuses on the full lifecycle of an order, from order creation through invoicing and payment. The environment is fast-paced, highly integrated, and business-critical. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys jumping in, taking ownership, and making an immediate impact while also being part of a long-term, strategic initiative.

Job Responsibility

  • Support and enhance Oracle Cloud Fusion Order-to-Cash processes
  • Own end-to-end order flow including order management, pricing, invoicing, and receivables
  • Act as a functional expert for O2C-related issues and integrations
  • Partner closely with finance, fulfillment, and integration teams
  • Help reduce workload pressure on the existing team and provide long-term coverage
  • Support related functional areas as needed, based on experience

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion Order Management
  • Strong end-to-end Order-to-Cash functional expertise
  • Experience supporting the full order lifecycle from order creation through invoicing
  • Functional knowledge of Pricing and Receivables
  • Ability to support and troubleshoot integrated systems

Nice to have

  • Exposure to Oracle SCM modules, especially order fulfillment
  • Experience with integrated systems such as WMS, Transportation Management, or Trade Promotion Management tools
  • Background in highly integrated enterprise environments

  • Lead workshops, interviews, and data analysis across core finance domains: Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Hire-to-Retire, FP&A, Tax, and Treasury
  • Map as-is and design to-be processes using BPMN/Visio, identifying opportunities for simplification, standardisation, and automation
  • Assess policy and accounting implications, ensuring alignment with GAAP (US GAAP, IFRS/UK GAAP) and company accounting policies
  • Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process/control designs
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and SMEs on ERP configuration, chart of accounts design, subledger integrations, and reporting requirements
  • Define data models and reporting specifications for financial and management reporting, KPI dashboards, and statutory/regulatory outputs
  • Embed financial controls and SOX / internal control requirements into process and system design (access controls, segregation of duties, audit trails)
  • Support accounting topics including revenue recognition (ASC 606 / IFRS 15), leases (ASC 842 / IFRS 16), fixed assets, inventory, multi-currency, and intercompany
  • Develop and execute test strategies (SIT, UAT, regression), manage traceability matrices, and support defect triage with Finance and Technology teams
  • Define data requirements, cleansing rules, and mapping for chart of accounts, vendors, customers, products, cost centres, and projects
