Job Description

The Enterprise Asset Management (Maximo) Consultant joining our team will align with business and IT stakeholders to translate business issues and requirements into best practice processes, blueprint, and functional specifications. This role is responsible for working on complex challenges, utilizing and developing technical skills contributing to both customer and internal projects, working both collaboratively and independently. The Consultant is responsible for securing quality of deliverables and effectiveness of communication between the implementation teams (Configuration, interfacing, data mapping/conversion etc) during software development and implementation phases. Along with the project responsibilities, this role is involved in Advisory Services where the consultant will assess and advise customers on their maturity in Asset Management and/or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide technical leadership throughout the lifecycle of a project including development, testing, and deployment of technical solutions and ongoing support
  • Configure and customize customer solutions applying in-depth knowledge of workflows, system configuration, and customizations to develop asset management technical solutions for customers
  • Concurrently deliver multiple projects which support complex and demanding requirements, acting as an advocate for the end user whilst assessing progress and report risks to the project teams
  • Manage the facilitation/documentation of system design workshops, process reengineering workshops and the creation of project and system documentation including process maps, system requirements, data standards, and training materials
  • Assist with coordinating data modelling and data collection activities
  • Seeking continuous improvements in implementation of processes and procedures and deliver independently or with the team
  • Oversight of development, testing, and deployment of technical solutions
  • Provide support and training to enterprise customers who typically have complex requirements
  • Take an active role in preparing responses to RFIs and RFPs
  • Controlling scope of project design and deliver high-quality, value-added results for both customer and internal projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or relevant training and/or experience
  • 5 - 7 years experience with Asset Management Systems (e.g. IBM Maximo, AssetWise, SAP, Infor, Oracle, Salesforce) or related applications
  • Desirable: Appropriate Software accreditation in chosen discipline. Eg. IBM Maximo Certification or equivalent
  • Proven experience of 3+ high-value, long-running (ideally Maximo) projects and/or years, in multiple industries
  • Experience implementing and integrating 3rd party applications
  • Experience with the integration of business solutions with Enterprise Resourcing Planning (ERP) solutions
  • 3+ years experience of leading or mentoring a team
  • Programming skills in Java, JavaScript, and SQL
  • Understanding and knowledge of databases (DB2, Oracle, MSSQL)
  • Proven ability to act as a technical leader, architecting solutions and mentoring other consultants
  • Involved with requirements gathering estimating and configuring a project solution
  • Business-level fluency in both Polish and English (written and spoken) is mandatory

  • IBM WebSphere and/or BEA WebLogic experience
  • RedHat OpenShift experience
  • Windows and Linux/Solaris experience
  • Agile DSDM Practitioner Certification
  • Experience working in an (hybrid) Agile environment (e.g Scrum, DSDM with Prince2)
