Job Description:

SAP Enterprise Architect designs and oversees SAP solution architecture, ensuring strategic alignment with business goals. You’ll lead architecture discussions, support sales and presales, and deliver solutions that drive success. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop scalable SAP solutions, assist with RFP responses, demos, and technical presentations, and provide deep architectural insights during sales cycles.

Job Responsibility:

  • Solution Architecture Design: Lead the development and implementation of end-to-end SAP solutions, focusing on delivering scalable, cost-effective, and high-performance architectures that align with the business requirements
  • Collaborate with Sales and Presales: Work closely with sales and presales teams to understand client needs and requirements, and create compelling solution proposals and presentations that showcase the value of SAP solutions
  • Client Engagement: Lead client workshops, understand their business challenges, and deliver tailored SAP architecture solutions that meet business goals
  • Enterprise Architecture Governance: Establish and enforce governance and best practices for the design and implementation of SAP solutions, ensuring consistency across projects and maintaining high-quality standards
  • Integration Strategy: Develop integration strategies for SAP with other enterprise systems, ensuring smooth data flow, business process alignment, and operational efficiency
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior leadership, business analysts, project managers, and technical teams to ensure alignment between the SAP solution architecture and the business objectives
  • Evaluate New Technologies: Stay updated with the latest trends in SAP technologies and the enterprise IT landscape, evaluating new solutions and innovations for possible inclusion in the architecture
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in solution design and implementation, and proactively address these risks through mitigation plans and collaboration with project teams

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5+ years specifically in SAP architecture and solution design
  • In-depth understanding of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud, and other SAP technologies, with hands-on experience in architecture, configuration, and deployment
  • Strong expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks, including TOGAF, SAP Activate, and Agile methodologies for enterprise architecture planning
  • Solid experience in business process reengineering and aligning IT systems with business goals
  • Proven experience in sales support and presales activities for SAP solutions, including RFP responses, client workshops, and solution demos
  • Experience in managing large, complex SAP implementation projects and understanding the technical and business challenges involved
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive and manage stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally
  • Strong expertise in integrating SAP with other enterprise systems, databases, and cloud-based applications
  • German and English language is mandatory
