Enterprise Architect Presales role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise responsible for architecting solutions that achieve customer business outcomes. The role involves developing compelling proposals, providing technical expertise to sales teams, ensuring customer requirements are met, and designing solutions aligned with business needs. This hybrid position requires working 2 days per week from an HPE office.
Job Responsibility:
Architect solutions to achieve customer business outcomes
Develop and articulate compelling, accurate, and relevant proposals
Provide technical expertise to sales teams and customers
Identify key risks and ensure customer requirements are met
Translate functional design into technical design and architecture
Communicate how solution value proposition addresses customer business needs
Track industry trends and emerging technologies
Show customers how to migrate and/or integrate technologies
Design and deliver solutions aligned to customer's business requirements
Participate in deep-dive discussions and articulate value proposition
Collaborate with account team leadership to develop key value propositions
Map the right partner to opportunities
Proactively build pipeline by identifying opportunities
Monitor account pipeline and nurture active deals
Participate in sales forecast meetings
Document ongoing work throughout sales cycle
Develop professional relationships with customer technical teams and executives
Requirements:
First-level university technical degree or equivalent technical qualifications
4–8 years of technical experience in IT with focus on technical consulting and solution selling
Knowledge-based and experienced-based relevant industry certifications
Well-developed experience participating in solution configurations and creation of demos and proofs-of-concept
Well-developed understanding of company solution offerings and portfolio of products
Well-developed working knowledge with as-a-service (aaS) business model
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills in English and applicable local languages
Well-developed discussion and persuasion skills
Well-developed business and financial acumen
Well-developed consultative and value selling skills
Well-developed company business knowledge and CRM systems
Well-developed resource management skills
Hands on experience with one or more products, solutions, tools, or services
Well-developed project and time management skills
Well-developed knowledge of partners' offerings
