Student Exploration and Experience Development (SEED) is a 12-week internship opportunity at Veolia for students to gain hands-on experience in sustainability and ecological transformation. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Enterprise Architecture Intern to join our team and work closely with experienced enterprise architects. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in enterprise architecture, learn about strategic IT planning, and contribute to real-world projects. The intern will assist in various aspects of enterprise architecture, including application portfolio management, technology assessment, and architectural documentation.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in gathering and organizing information about existing applications and technologies
Help create and maintain architectural diagrams and documentation
Participate in meetings with stakeholders to understand business requirements and IT needs
Contribute to the analysis of current systems and technologies
Assist in researching emerging technologies and industry trends
Help prepare presentations and reports for peers/stakeholders
Support the team in maintaining the enterprise architecture repository
Assist in the development of architectural standards and guidelines
Participate in project planning and tracking activities
Contribute to the creation of roadmaps and transition plans
Requirements:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (junior/senior year)
Keen interest in enterprise architecture and strategic IT planning
Basic understanding of software development concepts and methodologies
Familiarity with database concepts and data modeling
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and concepts
Basic knowledge of cloud computing concepts (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
