Are you an experienced enterprise architect with strong expertise in cybersecurity governance and regulatory compliance? We are looking for an Enterprise Architect – NIS2 to join our team in Brussels and lead the structural integration of NIS2 requirements into enterprise-wide architecture and operating models. About the Role As an Enterprise Architect – NIS2, you will ensure that the requirements of the NIS2 Directive are embedded by design across business processes, ICT systems, and governance structures. You will operate at the intersection of enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance, translating legal and risk requirements into scalable architectural solutions. You will work closely with executive leadership, CISO teams, IT, risk functions, and compliance stakeholders to drive sustainable alignment with EU cybersecurity obligations.
Job Responsibility:
Define and maintain the NIS2-aligned enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap
Translate regulatory requirements into architectural principles, standards, and target states
Design governance and control structures supporting cybersecurity risk management
Embed security and resilience requirements across digital transformation initiatives
Lead architecture reviews with a focus on regulatory compliance and risk mitigation
Align enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) with cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
Support third-party risk governance and supply chain security integration
Advise senior leadership and boards on NIS2 maturity, risk posture, and compliance strategy
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, or ICT risk management
Strong understanding of the NIS2 Directive and EU cybersecurity regulatory landscape
Experience aligning architecture with security and governance frameworks
Background in regulated sectors (critical infrastructure, public sector, energy, transport, financial services)
Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Fluency in English (French or Dutch is an asset)
