Job Description:

Enterprise Account Manager responsible for sales of storage products and solutions. Requires expertise in storage, leadership, and consultative selling methods, along with project management and industry knowledge. Collaborative and client-focused role aimed at driving pipeline, negotiating and closing deals, and fostering growth.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for sales of storage products and solutions in assigned territory, industry or accounts
  • Creates and drives the storage sales pipeline
  • Uses closed-loop lead management for follow-up
  • Builds sales readiness
  • Reduces client learning curve through knowledge transfer
  • Develops quota objectives and direction for storage products
  • Coordinates sales activities related to pipeline hygiene
  • Maintains a healthy pipeline and timely account plan
  • Collaborates across teams for end-to-end business solutions
  • Assesses solution feasibility to determine qualification status
  • Negotiates and closes profitable deals
  • Establishes consultative relationships with clients, including C-level
  • Leverages knowledge of competitors to position company products and services
  • Forge relationships with channels
  • Leads and coordinates marketing campaigns
  • Generates customer interest
  • Links financial benefits with company technologies
  • Cultivates positive client relations
  • Anticipates buying trends
  • Illustrates ROI and TCO benefits of offerings
  • Supports deal closures

Requirements:

  • University or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota, interface with diverse business customers at all levels
  • Typically 6-15 years of sales experience
  • Experience in storage sales, typically 2-3+ years
  • Extensive vertical industry knowledge required
  • Project management experience required
  • Expertise to assess solution feasibility from a technical and business perspective
  • Ability to negotiate and drive deals to ensure successful closure and a high win rate
  • Hunter mentality to pursue solution opportunities
  • Ability to articulate technical solutions and commercial benefits
  • Knowledge of digital and modern sales methods
  • Expertise in storage, cloud, solutions, service offerings
  • Understanding of industry trends and emerging vendors
  • Knowledge of IT within storage
  • Ability to integrate consultative selling methods
  • Leadership, persuasion, and collaboration skills
