You will join a world-class Go-to-Market team, targeting the Professional Services and Hospitality industries. We are looking for a strategic, collaborative, and autonomous individual who thrives on the challenge of both winning new business and becoming a trusted partner to our customers.
Job Responsibility:
Architect and execute a strategic territory plan to penetrate new enterprise accounts within France’s Professional Services and Hospitality sectors (minimum $1bn USD revenue)
Drive the full sales cycle for new business with self-sufficiency, from initial prospecting and discovery through to negotiation and closing
Nurture and strategically grow a portfolio of existing customers, focusing on retention, deepening relationships, and driving the adoption of BlackLine’s solutions
Act as a trusted advisor to CFOs, Controllers, and other C-level executives, moving beyond technical features to articulate a clear return on investment
Build and lead virtual teams, orchestrating internal resources across Marketing, Business Development, and Pre-Sales to deliver a world-class customer experience
Develop a predictable sales pipeline from both new business and account expansion, consistently delivering on your revenue targets
Serve as an active listener and a clear communicator to build credibility, foster trust, and influence buying decisions at the highest level of an organisation
Become an expert on your customers' businesses, understanding the priorities that drive their decisions and mapping our solutions to their most critical initiatives
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience in enterprise software sales, ideally selling complex accounting or financial technology solutions to large, complex organisations
A deep understanding or strong knowledge of accounting principles
You are an autonomous "doer" with outstanding account planning skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
You are a natural collaborator, adept at building meaningful relationships and working effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
A history of successfully engaging with C-suite executives, with the ability to articulate a clear, concise, and compelling business value statement
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style, build trust, and influence decisions
This role requires a willingness to travel to meet with prospects and customers as needed
Fluency in English and French

Candidates from non-traditional sales backgrounds, such as a subject matter expert from a consulting firm (with an accounting or audit profile) or a qualified accountant with deep accounting knowledge, ready for an exciting career step into software sales
