As a key player on our sales team, you’ll take ownership of developing and executing a go-to-market strategy for some of the most recognized enterprises in the region. Job Responsibility:
Champion Apache Kafka® and Confluent's cutting-edge data streaming platform within large enterprise and multi-national accounts
Drive end-to-end sales efforts: prospect, qualify, engage, and close new business opportunities
Exceed sales goals — monthly, quarterly, and annually
Build and nurture trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders across IT and business functions
Collaborate with and grow relationships with Confluent’s strategic partners and the broader ecosystem
Develop and execute territory-specific go-to-market plans, leveraging organic, viral, and community-driven strategies
Requirements:
At least 8+ years of successful enterprise sales experience, ideally in fast-growing software or SaaS companies
Proven success selling complex solutions in one or more of the following areas: databases, messaging, open source, big data, or cloud infrastructure
Strong business acumen with the ability to articulate the business value of data platforms to both technical and executive audiences
Demonstrated ability to sell to developers, architects, and C-level executives
Experience navigating and growing accounts within large, matrixed enterprise organizations
A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a high-growth, startup-style environment
