Job Description:

We are looking for an Enterprise Account Executive, Financial Services. You will be in charge of driving revenue growth in major accounts, establishing relationships and providing direct touch across all levels of the end customer whilst also engaging with the top SIs. Your ability to penetrate new customers and organisations within your assigned accounts is essential to your being successful in this role. Cross-functional teams from Appian Marketing, Business Development, Customer Success and Solutions Consulting functions provide support and tools for you to use to attain and exceed sales performance goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Driving revenue growth in major accounts
  • Establishing relationships and providing direct touch across all levels of the end customer
  • Engaging with the top SIs
  • Penetrating new customers and organisations within your assigned accounts

Requirements:

  • Experience navigating a complex sales cycle from start to finish, leveraging internal resources within the larger sales organisation, cross functionally with the customer success team and externally across customer and partner ecosystems
  • Strong presentation skills for delivering in-person and virtual presentations to LOB & IT audiences, highlighting your ability to perform client discovery, communicate ROI and build business value
  • In-depth understanding of Banking / Financial institutions across DACH and their buying behaviours
  • To be a trusted advisor to both customers and colleagues to leverage multiple stakeholders throughout complex deals
  • To actively seek to understand industry trends to help position against competitors
  • Significant direct selling experience as an Enterprise Account Executive, selling complex technologies at the enterprise level to Global 2000 customers
  • History of consistent quota achievement
  • Examples of landing new customer logos
  • Strong job tenure: history of displaying loyalty and perseverance through long, stable job tenure and positive career trajectory
  • Fluent English & German
