Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting funding assessments, including eligibility checks in line with College policies
  • Ensuring all required evidence is collected, recorded, and compliant with audit requirements
  • Identifying and resolving funding queries, escalating where necessary
  • Accurately inputting and updating learner applications and enrolment data
  • Checking data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • Maintaining high-quality records in line with GDPR and College standards
  • Supporting data quality checks and correcting errors promptly
  • Acting as a first point of contact for applicants (in person, phone, and email)
  • Providing clear information on enrolment and funding processes
  • Supporting a positive learner experience through a professional and approachable manner
  • Working closely with admissions, curriculum, and student services teams

Requirements:

  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, data entry systems)
  • Experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written, verbal, and numeracy skills
  • Ability to manage data carefully and maintain confidentiality

  • Leverage the assistance of Hello Neighbor volunteers in coordination with the Volunteer and Community Engagement Manager in order to assist RSS clients
  • Network and develop community contacts with other social service providers, including both mainstream providers and those that serve refugees exclusively
  • Provide rotating support for office hours held on Wednesdays 2-6 p.m.
  • Support the Employment department at large as needed including job training, resume assistance, client enrollments and closures etc.
